Took a stab at this in black an white instead of the usual color, and heavily processed instead of the usual straight from the camera upload. It was shot in full noon sun at the beach of Discovery Park. No clouds in the sky, bright white shirt, strong shadows. Amazingly enough, I got the exposure dead on for not blowing out the highlights, but there was just something missing when doing this in color. Probably just missing things in the shadow area due to the strong illumination. This is the result of some channel and layer tweaking to do the conversion to black and white — Most of the image is from the red channel, with overlays of blue for the shadows in her shirt and the sky. Green contributes a bit to the background, but not to much else.
